The Manager, Family Expeditions for National Geographic Expeditions has direct P&L oversight of our Family product line. This includes direct management of all product development, pricing, costing, and delivery as well as input on sales and marketing strategy, customer service and experience, and National Geographic Brand Experience. Leads external partnership management and contract negotiations for Family.
•Manage the P&L performance of the Family product line to achieve current FY budget targets for net revenue and gross profit •Oversee external partnership management and contract negotiations for Family line. In collaboration with marketing team, oversee brand management •Manage the NPS results for all Family programs to achieve annual customer satisfaction goals •Other support as needed •Provide input on sales & marketing strategy, customer service and experience, and brand experience. Launch new programs per schedule.
Requirements: •Bachelor’s Degree required. Minimum five (5) years of experience in the travel industry. Prior experience with contract negotiations, external partnership management, and product development a plus •English, excellent communication and interpersonal skills with strong attention to detail •Ability to develop and manage bottoms-up budgets by program and product line. Strong analytical skills and business acumen required •Knowledge of Microsoft Office (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.) •Strong leader with ability to multi-task and juggle competing priorities. Self-directed and well organized. Strong customer relationship orientation and collaboration skills
