We are seeking a product manager within the Macs US product team. Taking responsibility for a geographical area you will report to the Group Head of Product and US Trip Development Director to deliver the Macs Adventure product strategy. Your goal will be to create successful new tours, increase revenue of existing tours, grow margins and improve customer experience.
Taking full “ownership” of a product area is an exciting prospect as it allows opportunity for innovation through creating new tours and improving existing product to make it suitable for all the markets we serve.
With at least two to three years’ experience working in the adventure travel industry, in a product management or product coordinator role, you are a creative person who is well-traveled and enjoys hiking and biking in your spare time. You have a strong awareness of our competitors, the adventure travel marketplace and the current travel trends. You know exactly who the Macs Adventure customer is and what they want, and you know exactly where and how to find it! You write fluently and concisely, love a great photo, and are happy wrangling spreadsheets. Multitasking is your middle name, and juggling many projects excites you. You are a great communicator and enjoy working with colleagues from other teams across the business.
Partnering with a product coordinator, you will work with them to ensure that tours are managed and improved to provide great levels of service and profitable performance. This is a fantastic opportunity to be involved in the creative process of tour development and management. Please note that regular travel (approx. 4 – 6 weeks each year) is a requisite part of the job.
