We are looking for a passionate hiker and/or cyclist to join our Ottawa team to manage the Great Canadian Trails offering. You would be working out of our Ottawa office on maintaining current trips to our quality standard and creating new active adventures in Canada for both domestic and international travellers.
Research new active trip opportunities, and present to management
Conduct on-site research – trails, accommodations and restauration
Coordinate all local services to deliver quality experiences
Negotiate prices and allotment
Create trip notes, information for the website, pre-departure information and detailed route notes.
Maintain accurate information in our system database
Communicate with tourism boards and potential local partners
You need to have exceptional attention to details, creative thinking and problem-solving skills
You also need to possess the below qualifications:
Project Time Management
Good knowledge of hiking and cycling trails in Canada
Excellent communication and writing skills
Map reading aptitude
