We are looking for someone who can lead our team of fifteen employees with compassion and inspiration, who can offer our guests the most incredible experience of their lives, and take deep, personal care of the lodge infrastructure. Have past lodge experience, preferably in Alaska or Canada
Have knowledge of Alaska flora and fauna, maritime culture
Have experience in the transformative, high-end adventure travel space
Additional Salary Information: This position is a full-time year-round position with a multi-year contract
About Within The Wild Adventure Company
Tutka Bay Lodge is a remote lodge along a 9-mile fjord in southcentral Alaska. We are seeking an experienced guide and operations manager to oversee our small staff as well as a front-house manager to oversee our kitchen and housekeeping staff. (These two positions do not necessarily need to be a couple but we are accepting couple resumes.) We are a boutique company that cater to upscale sophisticated backcountry travelers. Tutka Bay Lodge is award-winning for our high level of customer service. We offer sea-kayaking adventures in the Kachemak Bay region, hiking in Kachemak Bay State Park, sportfishing for salmon and other Pacific species as well as other adventures. We are noted for our cuisine and offer cooking classes, we offer a wellness program including yoga and massage. We have a staff of about 15 people. We are looking for Alaska experience and managers who can participate in our physically active and dynamic program.
