To provide the US office with first and second line support for all IT issues and to help build and maintain the network infrastructure across the Luxury Travel Group.
To operate a Help Desk to deal with day to day IT incidents and respond to all issues within a timeframe
To support and help the internal users daily and communicate all IT related issues as required
To assist with the installation, configuration, management and support of all software and hardware systems. This includes all workstations, software applications and operating systems, all ancillary hardware, all telephone and communication systems and all cabling (including power, data and phone)
To assist the Head of Business Technology (based in the UK) with various IT projects.
Operate the Help Desk to deal with day to day IT incidents via the phone, tickets or in person
Assist in the ongoing development and maintenance of comprehensive IT Documentation
To do inventory and set up procedures for all hardware and software
To assist the Head of Business Technology with various IT projects, including producing in-house documentation detailing the IT procedures and configuration
To assist in the setting up and maintenance of the US users including remote workers (as required)
Participate in the Out of Hours Emergency IT helpline
Maintain and order IT supplies
Backup, archiving, restoring and checking all data on a daily basis (as required)
Any other duties as management may require from time to time.
Experience & Capabilities:
Strong communication skills
Ability to use initiative and to think practically
Responsive to feedback
Ideally experienced in working with remote offices on different time zones
A ‘nothing is too much trouble’ attitude.
Additional Salary Information: From $28.85 per hour for a 40-hour week Monday - Friday.
